The annual Glasshouse dinner is truly magical and unique dining experience. A delightful evening at the Ballymaloe Cookery School where the menu is lovingly prepared and served by Rory O’Connell and his team and produce is grown or reared on the Ballymaloe Farms. The evening is held in aid of the Slow Food Movement.
At the Ballymaloe Glasshouse dinner, you will be welcomed with a glass of bubbles or elderflower lemonade and seasonal canapes in the cookery school at 4pm. Darina Allen will welcome you and commence the evening by speaking enthusiastically on the merits of the slow food movement followed by a walk to visit the Ballymaloe cookery school gardens, farm animals, dairy and potage. Darina or a family member will lead you to the Glasshouses, where music will welcome you into this magical dinner setting. Tables are naturally styled yet pristinely set with crisp white table cloths as they sit amongst the tomato vines and rich greens of the cookery school produce.
