Join Ballymaloe's Head Gardener, Susan Turner for a half day course at Ballymaloe Cookery school on Monday 10th July from 9.00am - 2.00pm.
With coffee on arrival to Ballymaloe cookery school on Monday morning, this package includes a light lunch. Susan will teach you points to consider when looking at the general layout of any garden.
Good plant choices for a long season of interest with vibrant colour combinations and contrasts in texture and form are all to be considered as well as combining structural plants, underplanting and extending the season with annuals, self-sowers and interplanting with bulbs.
Seasonal maintenance to include pruning, dividing the plants, weeding techniques and tools, staking and mulching.
Stay at Ballymaloe House for bed & breakfast on either Sunday Sunday 9th July or Monday 10th July, enjoy dinner (Buffet dinner on Sunday 9th) and the course with Susan Turner.
