We offer three room types, Standard, Large & Superior, these rooms are in the main house & we also have charming rooms in a lime washed, rose-covered farm building in the courtyard.

We offer some large and airy with beautiful views over the fields as well as cosier rooms at the top of the house in the eaves. Our newer, light filled garden rooms are at the back of the house and look on to the river and oak and horse chestnut trees beyond.

Ballymaloe House is built onto an historic Norman keep and the house itself is steeped in history. With this package Rory Allen will take you on a private tour of Ballymaloe House, where he grew up, and will tell you personally about the history of the buildings and artefacts in and around the house and grounds.

Make Ballymaloe House your home for two nights and explore local sights and local places of interest. Enjoy short country strolls within the 300 acres of Ballymaloe farmland or explore the famous Ballycotton cliff walk nearby in the picturesque fishing village.

During your stay, join our head gardener and plant an Oak tree in a specially allocated plot within the Ballymaloe estate.
Your tree will be carefully recorded in a tree ledger and you will be presented with a certificate recording the number and location of your tree.

Our traditional Sunday buffet night dinner consists of a wide selection of fish and meat patés, shellfish (clams, cockles, mussels, crab, shrimps and lobster as available), locally smoked fish (eel, mackerel, salmon), home-produced vegetable salads and freshly cooked local meats (beef, pork, turkey, ham, lamb, ox tongue etc)

Although there were 12 apostles of Jesus Christ, Judas Iscariot betrayed him and is therefore omitted.
