Fishing Packages

Carton House Fishery consists of 4.5 kilometres of the Rye river. The river is a rich chalk stream and is home to wild Brown trout. It has been described as one of the most productive chalk streams in the country. The river is divided into 14 beats and fishing is divided and rotated depending on the size of the group or the traditional Irish weather. There is a large population of wild Brown Trout which offer superb fishing in an absolutely magical setting throughout the season.

Two Night Fishing Package

Enjoy two nights luxurious accommodation with breakfast each morning and dinner on one evening in the Linden Tree restaurant. Enjoy a day and a half Brown Trout fishing on the River Rye which flows for 4.5km through Carton Estate.

•Fishing Equipment is available on request
•Fishing available also on The River Liffey, The River Boyne and Lough Owel
•€50 per guide for half day / €75 per guide full day
•One guide can cater for up to 4 people
•An experienced angler can fish without a guide, however a new or inexperienced angler will need a guide to accompany them.
