Castle Leslie Estate is the perfect location for a fishing break in Ireland. Combine the unique experience of a stay on the Estate with excellent fishing in one of Ireland's best-preserved lakes. Managed with care by the Leslie family for generations, the beautiful "Glaslough" or Green Lake is considered by many to be one of the best-preserved lakes in Ireland. It is synonymous with monster pike: in 1991, a specimen weighing 38lb 9oz (17.5kg) was caught in the lake and broke the 18-year official Irish record. In 2012, our angling guests reported a terrific year of fishing. Our records show catches from 18 - 30lbs fish. Many of our guests advise us that they have caught their "largest ever fish" in Glaslough Lake and are set to return to break their own personal record and that indeed of others!
Join us at the Lodge and enjoy a full day's fishing with overnight accommodation, a two course dinner in Conor's Bar and a hearty full Irish breakfast the next morning.

Arrive at your luxurious Village Cottage and once everyone has fought over who gets what amazing bedroom, take a peek inside your fridge... home treats such as a welcome family basket, beer & wine for the adults and ice cream & chocolate for the kids. And that's not all.. proceed to the living room where all the ingredients for the perfect "Family Night In" awaits! An open fire and a box of treats to include ..sweets, pop corn, snacks and a variety of legendary family fun movie flicks!
Included in your break is breakfast each morning in Snaffles restaurant at the Lodge, a 60 minute family ride on a day of choice, a 45 minute spa treatment for Mum & Dad and there is a casual 3 course family dinner at Conor's Bar at the Lodge on a night of your choice,
Directly across from your Village House is a fantastic children's playground, a tennis court and a basketball court. We've even included rackets and balls in your house for the whole family to enjoy a game!

5 Night Family Break

 
Get away from it all with the entire family and enjoy a perfect Irish staycation with 5 nights in a luxurious Village Cottage. We've planned the ideal family break so all you have to worry about is when to come and enjoy it. It's the perfect balance of downtime for adults and exciting activities for kids so that the entire family gets a break!
Arrive at your luxurious Village Cottage and once everyone has fought over who gets what amazing bedroom, take a peek inside your fridge. Home treats such as a welcome family basket, beer & wine for the adults and ice cream & chocolate for the kids. And that's not all.. proceed to the living room where all the ingredients for the perfect "Family Night In" awaits! An open fire and a box of treats to include sweets, pop corn, snacks and a variety of legendary family fun movie flicks!
Daytime activities included in this break are plentiful. Included is breakfast each morning in Snaffles restaurant, a 60 minute Family Ride, 2 supervised mornings at The Saddle Club for the kids (1 hour pony parlour & 1 hour ride). On a day of your choice, Mum & Dad can enjoy a 45 minute treatment each in the Victorian Treatment Rooms and use of the outdoor hot tub.
And for dinner time, there is also one 3 course family dinner at Conor's Bar at the Lodge included on a night of your choice during your stay.
