Try our 3 day taster riding holiday including 2 hours on the beach plus a 2 hour mountain trek. A free relaxing seaweed bath for those tired muscles is also included. This fabulous deal includes 3 nights bed and breafast and 2 evening meals for just €380 per person sharing (July/Aug €480).

We’ll start off in the sand arena, so you can get to know your horse and we’re sure you’re comfortable in the saddle. The mountain trek begins at the centre and is a lovely scenic ride through winding country roads and around the foothills of Croagh Patrick. The views across Clew Bay have to be seen to be believed so don’t forget your camera. Beach riding times vary according to the tides, we want to make sure you have plenty of sandy beach to enjoy. The horses love the beach just as much as we do, so you’re guaranteed to have a fantastic time.

Clew Bay Escape

A 4 day riding holiday combining the very best of beach and mountain trekking. Plus of course a delicious seaweed bath with our compliments. The Clew Bay Escape includes 4 nights bed and breakfast and 3 evening meals for €495 per person sharing.

We always begin with an assessment in the sand arena to ensure your comfort and safety. On the first day we will take you on a scenic 2 hour trek along leafy lanes and tracks. You’ll see some of the historic sites associated with St. Patrick and enjoy some beautiful Mayo scenery.

Day two is beach time – 3 glorious hours by the Atlantic shore. You’ll love it and so will your horse – they all adore stretching out in a canter through the shallow water. Your last day consists of a wonderful 3 hour mountain trek taking you through the foothills of Croagh Patrick and seeing some truly spectacular scenery across Clew Bay north to Achill Island and south to Mweelrea mountain. It’s a wonderful way to finish off your riding holiday in the west.
